There are 3 types of drinks that are incredibly famous here in Muar – the pear, bird nest and lime lemon.
 
Bou Zi Lam is placed right in front of Eu Yan Sang of Gluttony Street. Its business started in the 70s and had been passed down for six generations. Besides the three famous drinks, they also have other choices like herbal tea, lo han go and also bitter herbal tea, made by the owner’s very own secret recipe, a drink that would definitely cure heatiness. 

They too sell canned fruit juice here like passion fruit, pear juice and soursop. All of them are 100% handmade. The processing is complex, but are guaranteed authentic drinks.

These pears are not like the common pears we eat. The pears are marinated and imported from China.



The signature drink here would be the lime lemon. It richly consists of vitamin A & C and is very strong in taste, guaranteed to refresh you after drink. The lime lemon had been very popular since 1997, so popular that it overshadowed the traditional signature herbal tea.
